Exciting News - Planet Bee's New Pollinator Sanctuary is coming Spring 2027!

As we approach 30 years in business, our family began reflecting back on the biggest positive impact we could have on our community and the pollinators all around us...

The Pollinator Sanctuary essentially transforms 1/3 of an acre of conventional pear orchard into a natural-inspired haven for bees & all native pollinators.

Designed with pollinators at the helm, it will feature native plants offering a buffet of nectar and pollen throughout the Spring to Fall - relying on minimal water usage, and supplemented with a rainwater collection system.

At the centre of our sanctuary will sit a flowering Linden tree, eventually maturing to 40 feet tall providing shade & food for pollinators.  We are repurposing some of the pear tree stumps and roots into habitat for quail, birds, and pollinators.

Inviting nature trails will allow visitors to get a closer look at the pollinators as they enjoy our carefully-selected plants, grasses, shrubs, and trees.
