Spring has officially arrived, and there’s no better way to welcome the season than by spending a day celebrating community, sustainability, and of course—bees. To celebrate Spring this April, Planet Bee is hosting our much-anticipated Spring Bee Festival, bringing together families, local artisans, and nature lovers for a vibrant day of fun.
Taking place on Sunday, April 26 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., the festival promises something for everyone. This year introduces a special highlight for younger visitors: children’s entertainment with Kiki the Eco Elf, featuring face painting, music, and interactive story time designed to inspire curiosity about the natural world and pollinators of all shapes & sizes.
Beyond the kids’ activities, guests can explore a variety of local artisan vendors, offering unique handmade goodies and art. Food lovers will also have plenty to enjoy, from fresh wood-fired pizza to a selection of locally made treats and ice cream—perfect for a sunny spring afternoon (the event will run rain or shine, but we're crossing our fingers for sun!).
More than just a celebration, the event also supports an important cause. A portion of the day’s sales will be donated to Pollinator Partnership Canada, helping to protect pollinators and promote environmental stewardship. This event will also give visitors a chance to take a first look at our new project - our onsite Pollinator Sanctuary! With completion scheduled for 2027, now is the perfect time to come and hear our plans & vision for this 1/3 acre of land.
Whether you’re coming for the food, the shopping, or simply to enjoy the spring atmosphere, the Spring Bee Festival is a chance to connect with the community and appreciate the vital role bees play in our ecosystem. Bring your family, gather your friends, and get ready to celebrate the season in the sweetest way possible. 🌸🐝
Did we mention the whole store will be 10% off (online orders too!). Don't miss our Spring Bee Festival Sunday April 26th.
